This rhodochrosite seems to have every shade of pink you can imagine in it! This stone, in its purest form, is a rose red, but impurities are what form the wonderful variegations and lacy patterns we love so much! Rhodochrosite is a soft gemstone, with a Mohs scale number of 3.5 to 4, so wear, enjoy, but use the same care with it that you use with fine pearls or opals- store it away from other gems that can scratch it, and treat it with love!
