Cat's eye, a chrysoberyl, is a beautiful gemstone, shimmering with a cat's eye chatoyancy effect all over. Related to the alexandrite, another chrysoberyl, and part of the beryllium family, these particular gems are a soft, grayish green color, almost as hard as sapphire, and extremely intriguing!
