Iolite briolettes are faceted and polished, cut into mixed asymetrical shapes and ready for really exotic pendants. Iolite is one of the world's relatively few natural color change gemstones. It usually ranges from violet blues all the way through taupes, depending on the way the light hits it. Very rare as a gemstone!
