Pyrite is also known as "fool's gold" and is wonderful in jewelry. It is usually gold colored or silvery with gold undertones, but don't overlook the simply stellar bronze! Faceted and polished, then drilled into beads of many shapes, pyrite is unique. It makes excellent rondelle spacers, sparkling nuggets and briolettes, flashing coins, or anything you choose. It is also very popular as rough nuggets. Pyrite may be left to its own natrual color, or given an AB misting, or coated in gold or silver color, or even brushed. It is a highly versitile material.
